Small & Micro Enterprises Programme Deposit Taking Microfinance (SMEP DTM) Limited is a microfinance institution run by the National Council of Churches Kenya (NCCK).

2. Enter the SMEP Business Number (Loan repayment 777001, Hazina 777002, Akiba 777003, Saving on Hazina Plus 777004)
3. Enter your SMEP Account Number e.g. 124536 (i.e. group code and client emerge ID)
4. Enter the amount you wish to pay/save
5. Enter your M-PESA PIN
6. Confirm details are correct, and then click OK to complete the transaction.
7. M-PESA will send a confirmation message with payment details immediately.
How to Apply for Kenya ICT Board Pasha Loan through Family Bank Limited
Kenya ICT Board issues public call for Pasha Loan Applications for the set up of new Pasha Centre’s or to improve or expand existing e-center facilities.
1. Applicants collect application forms from designated collection points or download from FBL (Family Bank Limited) & Kenya ICT Board (KICTB) websites.
2. Applicants submit Pasha Loan Applications together with all the required documents to the nearest FBL Branch.
3. FBL Branch Credit Officers receive loan applications and Confirm the forms are duly completed
i. All necessary documents are enclosed
ii. Certify copies of any legal documents submitted
iii. Register applications online and issue the applicant with an official KICTB Reference Number
4. FBL Branch Credit Officers prescreen applications
5. Applicants who meet prerequisite requirements are invited for credit appraisal interview at the nearest FBL Branch.
6. FBL Credit Branch Committee appraises the applications and selects the best applications
7. Selected applications are subjected to home and business visits as well as verification of the intended location of the Pasha Centre and vendor quotations
8. FBL Branch Credit Committee selects the best applications and forwards them to FBL Head Office Credit Committee
9. FBL Head Office Credit Committee reviews the applications and selects the best three per constituency to forward to the KICTB Grants Committee
10. Grants Committee reviews the submitted applications and selects the best application per constituency, and notifies FBL
11. FBL issues the successful Applicants with an Offer Letter
12. Successful Applicant signs Offer Letter and Kenya ICT Board Service Level Agreement; opens a FBL bank account and deposits 10% of the project cost.
13. FBL disburses the loan as per the Offer Letter Terms and Conditions.
14. Successful Applicant repays loan in installments as stipulated in the Offer Letter.
How to withdraw cash from M-Pesa Account through Equity Bank ATM
1. First on your phone:
• Select ‘ATM Withdrawal’ from the M-PESA menu
• Enter the Equity Bank’s Agent Code 286286
• Enter your M-PESA PIN
• You will receive an SMS notification from M-PESA with a 6-digit authorization code. (The code expires after 2 hours and you will be expected to initiate the transaction afresh if you need to withdraw money again.)
2. Then on the ATM:
• Select the M-PESA button on the Equity Bank ATM
• Select your preferred language
• Enter the 6-digit ATM Authorization Code on the ATM keyboard.
• Enter your Safaricom mobile number.
• Enter the amount you wish to withdraw, press CONTINUE to proceed with transaction.
• ATM will dispense your cash and issue you with a receipt. You will also receive an SMS from M-PESA confirming the transaction.
How to transfer money from your Equity Bank Account to your yuCash Account (Loading Funds)
1. Select ‘Load Unload’ on the yuCash menu on your phone.
2. Select ‘Load Funds’.
3. Enter the amount to Load.
4. Enter a message e.g. ‘For Mombasa trip’. Wait for processing.
5. Get confirmation screen indicating your Phone No., Account No., the Amount & Message. Press OK to continue.
6. Enter your yuCash PIN and press OK. You will get a final confirmation SMS of a successful Load Funds.
How to open an M-Kesho Account from Equity Bank & Safaricom Ltd
1. You need to be a Registered M-PESA Subscriber.
2. Visit any Equity Bank branch or selected M-PESA Agent outlet listed on the Safaricom website and fill in an Account Opening Form.
3. Provide a copy of your ID and 1 Passport Size photo.
Non-residents can provide their Passports and other relevant permits.
4. Once the application is received by the bank for processing, you will receive an SMS notification advising you to update your M-PESA Menu to include M-KESHO
How to transfer money from Equity Bank Account to M-Kesho Account through Eazzy 247
This is done in two steps, first by transferring money to M-Pesa then secondly from M-Pesa to M-Kesho
1. Select ‘Funds Transfer’ from the EQUITY Bank Eazzy 247 menu on your phone
2. Select ‘Transfer to M-PESA’
3. Your ‘Alias’ name will appear, enter Registered M-PESA Mobile Number to send to and Amount
4. Confirm Amount to send to, Account Number to send from and M-PESA Number to send to.
5. Receive a confirmation SMS from M-PESA.
6. You can now go to your M-PESA menu and transfer money to your ‘M-KESHO Account using the following steps
How to Send Money to M-Kesho Account from M-Pesa
1. Select ‘M-KESHO’ from M-PESA menu on your phone
2. Select ‘Send to Bank’ from M-KESHO menu on your phone
3. Enter Amount to Send to your M-KESHO account from your M-PESA
4. Enter your M-PESA PIN
5. Confirm Amount to Send to M-KESHO
6. Receive a confirmation SMS from M-PESA showing the amount sent to M-KESHO
7. Receive another confirmation SMS from Equity Bank once the money enters your M-KESHO Account
How to withdraw money from M-Kesho Account to M-Pesa Account
1. Select ‘M-KESHO’ from M-PESA menu on your phone
2. Select ‘Withdraw from Bank’ from M-KESHO menu on your phone
3. Enter Amount to Withdraw from your M-KESHO account and send to M-PESA
4. Enter your M-PESA PIN
5. Confirm Amount to withdraw from M-KESHO
6. Receive an SMS from M-PESA confirming your request to withdraw is being processed
7. Receive another confirmation SMS from M-PESA once the money enters your M-PESA Account

This is done in two steps
1. On your mobile phone
a. Select ‘ATM Withdrawal’ from the M-Pesa menu
b. Enter DTB’s Agent code (555555)
c. Enter your M-Pesa PIN
d. You will receive a notification from M-pesa with a 6-digit authorization code
Note: the code expires after two hours and you will be expected to initiate the transaction afresh if you need to withdraw money again.
2. At the DTB ATM
a. Select ‘M-Pesa’ Button on the DTB ATM. Select your preferred language.
b. Enter the 6-digit ATM Authorization Code on the ATM keyboard and press ‘CONTINUE’.
c. Enter your Safaricom Mobile Number and press ‘CONTINUE’.
d. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and press ‘CONTINUE’ to proceed with transaction.
e. DTB ATM will dispense your cash and issue you a receipt. You will also receive an SMS from M-Pesa confirming the transaction.
How to send money at Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) using MoneyGram
1. Find a DTB MoneyGram location near you.
2. Visit your DTB branch, taking some personal identification with you, usually one or more of the following: passport, driving license, national identity card or a government issued identification.
3. Walk straight to the MoneyGram counter with the money you want to send and the transfer fee. You may also include a free 10-word message to the receiver.
4. The DTB Teller will complete the transaction and give you a reference number.
5. Contact the person to whom you’re sending the money, and give him or her reference number. In just 10 minutes the money will be ready to collect (subject to the receiving MoneyGram agent’s availability and hours of operation, and local regulations).

1. Ask the person who is sending you money to give you the reference number. This will help speed up your collection.
2. Visit a DTB branch, taking some identification and your reference number with you.
